I am deeply inspired by the enriching experience of spending time in nature. I am drawn the most to the colors, shapes and patterns found within the flora; from the changing shapes of the leaves between different species of oaks, to the spiraling sacred geometric patterns in flowers.
Fun fact! Cyanotypes are one of the ORIGINAL forms of photography invented in the mid 1800's by Sir John Herschel. Made famous by Anna Atkins, a botanist who published the first photographic illustrated book of algae using the cyanotype method.
