Process

All my designs start with a drawing. The design is then carved in reverse with inverted relief. The molds are then used to press my jewelry and tiles. Each piece goes through multiple stages of sanding, firing, glazing, and finishing before it is complete. Every aspect is done by hand in my studio.

Inspiration

I am inspired by beautiful lines, fine detail work and a unique approach to jewelry.

Fun Facts

All of my designs have to be carved in reverse with inverted relief. When carving it can take a minute for my mind to switch over to backwards thinking, but soon it seems as natural as seeing the world in normal directions.
