With Sterling, fine silver, and other metals, I use a variety of traditional techniques (fabrication, sawing, piercing, soldering) and merge them with modern methods (precious metal clay) to create artistic jewelry.
My inspiration comes from nature and myth. I love nature the cycles of growth and rest, perseverance, whimsy. The stories of many different cultures and how they've seen the world and nature. I work to incorporate these and thoughts, ideas, and learning into my art; bringing joy to other people.
You can often find me scouring the ground looking for pine cones, fallen leaves, and seed pods, to use the natural textures in my work. I use recycled metals, many organic textures in my art.
