My love for flowers and vibrant colors along with the progression of each new piece I make inspires me to keep learning about different flowers and creating art that is more intricate and makes people look closer before they realize they are looking at flower petals and not real butterfles.
I married my husband in September of 2020, and we used a bunch of Dahlias that I grew for our centerpieces. I'm still using some of our wedding flowers that I dried to make my butterflies. In fact, each of their bodies is made from a curled-up dahlia petal from our wedding day.
