My inspiration comes from other artist. I dont use a ton of reference when I make my art but I try to expose myself to as many artist as possible. That can come from social media or local artist/ museums/exhibits. My day job is motion design so i'm surrounded by talented artist and designers.
My work channels the little kid inside us, Robots, Mythology, Monsters but its coupled with my fine art/ digital art backgound. I like to think that although the context of my work seems geared towards a younger generation - that an older audience will appreciate the design and compositions.
