I make wooden cutting boards, serving trays, and small furniture using traditional woodworking methods. I have also started using some more high tech methods of woodworking when it helps me make a better, more interesting product. All of my lumber is sourced locally from the WV/PA area.
My main inspiration is the natural beauty of wood. All of my pieces are made in a way that showcases the natural look and feel of the wood. When I am sawing up logs at the sawmill, it is like a treasure hunt. Each tree is different inside. There are different colors, grain patterns, and shapes.
My colorful "Rainbow" end grain cutting boards contain a wide mix of colors but it is completely natural. I never use any paints or stains for my cutting boards and serving trays.
