Handcrafted cutting boards made from locally harvested logs that I mill and dry myself. By using up to 17 different species of trees I create an almost endless palette of colorful boards. Also by using only closed grain woods they’re fully functional as well as being quite pretty.
Pennsylvania has some of the finest wood in the world. And I like to showcase that and prove it can be done economically. So we don’t need to cut down the rain forest.
Ambrosia maple is caused by the ambrosia beetle. As the sap runs up and down in the tree it draws minerals with it and that’s where the streaks come from
