I'm inpsired by the unqiue combination of control and surprise in Shibori dyeing and have great respect for the masters that honed these techniques centuries ago. I love inventing new methods and the challenges of applying established techniques to non-traditional formats, such as an infinity scarf.
Indigo is the only natural blue dye in the world and, surprisingly, the blue color comes from the green leaves, not the flowers!
