my studio is in a rebuilt civil war-era barn that inspires me everyday. many of the unique ephemeral materials that I use in my work are sourced from local flea markets. I thrive on repurposing the past for the present along with finding beauty in nature and celebrating the imperfect and forgotten.
Some people don't realize that I only use original paper in my work, never scans or digital creations. It's important that my jewelry & accessories highlight and honor the stories of the original materials. Sourcing is one of my favorite parts of my process, the possibilities are endless!
