I am inspired by the raw beauty of ancient beads from Africa and the designs of Ancient Rome interpreted for today’s modern bohemian spirit. With each hammer strike, I strive to imbue my work with a ‘dug from the earth’ aesthetic, washed over by the Zen philosophy of fukensei & the wabi sabi ethos.
I use a variety of my dad's old hammers, including one 5lb hickory-handled antique hammer, to set stones and move metal. They keep his industrious spirit alive in my heart and in my work.
