My Process

I’m an acrylic painter. I work with acrylics because they dry faster than oil. In fact, (for me) they don’t dry fast enough! I use a hair dryer to speed up the dry time. Acrylics slow me down, but until someone makes a marker with fully opaque ink, I have to settle for acrylics.

My Inspiration

My work is born out of the desire to capture the beauty and mystery of natural light. The study of light as it drifts through the leaves of trees or spreads itself over banks of the Delaware is a never-ending journey for me and always yields fresh inspiration and new ideas for my art.
